Yes — babysitters can care for more than one child, provided legal and safe childcare ratios are met.

When you complete your booking request, you’ll be asked to enter the ages and number of children requiring care. Our platform automatically matches babysitters based on appropriate legal ratios for the ages selected, ensuring babysitters are never assigned an unsafe or unrealistic number of children.

For larger groups, weddings, or events with multiple children, your booking may be reviewed and managed manually by our team. This allows us to ensure the correct number of babysitters are allocated so that all children are cared for safely and babysitters are properly supported.

We always recommend discussing the final arrangements with your babysitter ahead of the event so everyone is clear and comfortable.

We understand that arranging childcare for a wedding or special event can be stressful, which is why we’ve built contingencies into our platform to make the process as smooth and worry-free as possible.

In the unlikely event that your babysitter needs to cancel, our team will notify you as soon as possible and aim to provide a replacement babysitter from our pool of pre-approved last-minute and back-up babysitters. These babysitters have confirmed at sign-up that they are available for short-notice and emergency bookings.

When you make a booking, all important information about the children, routines, and the plans for the day is securely stored on our platform. This means that if a replacement babysitter is required, they’ll have access to the relevant details straight away — so you won’t need to repeat yourself or re-explain arrangements during an already busy time.

While replacements are subject to availability, our team will always do everything possible to support you and minimise disruption.

All payments are handled securely through the platform. This protects both parents and babysitters and ensures complete clarity around rates, booked hours, and confirmed services.

When you make a booking, you’ll pay a 50% deposit to secure your babysitter. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your wedding or event.
